The modern port city of Haifa is built on Mount Carmel. Out of the restored land of Israel, the words of the prophet Elijah still speak to us today. In 1 Kings 18:21 Elijah said, "How long will you hesitate between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.”
